"Church on the Run"

 for truckers

For those truckers who don't have an opportunity to attend church or a Transport for Christ mobil chapel;

This Week's "Church on the run" sermon highlights from Pastor Larry Rinard, Brighter Days Bible Church, Mt. Jackson, VA is:
"Satan has no rights!"

Today’s scripture: 1 John 4:4 KJV

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that

is in you, than he that is in the world.

The Bible tells us that if you are not saved, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then Satan is your father. Oh, Yes it does say that!

John 8:44 KJV

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

So there are only two choices available: You are either a child of God, or a child of the devil. Think about it a minute. It is quite a spooky thought isn’t it?

If you are a child of God, Satan cannot mess with you!

1. Satan has no right

to get you depressed:

There is no need to ever be depressed when you put your total faith and trust in the Lord. He promises to take care of you.

1 Peter 5:7 KJV

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

God wants you to have a rich full life. Something only God can give you.

And:

John 10:10KJV

The thief (satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

And:

Philippians 4:19 KJV

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

2. Satan has no right

to rob you of your joy:

Philippians 4:4 KJV

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Our strength comes from being happy in the Lord. Satan can only rob us of our joy if we let him. Satan is trying to get us at our weakest point.

1 Peter 5:8 KJV

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil,

as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom

he may devour:

3. Satan has no right

to offer you the world:

The world and the material things in it are what most people are looking for and want.

Their God is not Jesus Christ; Their “things”, houses, cars, jobs, yards etc. are taking His place. Be reminded of the very first commandment ever given:

Exodus 20:3 KJV

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

If your material possessions, for example, are more important than your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you are making them “gods.”

The Bible goes on to tell us we should not love the things of the world. If we get so caught up with the things of the world, we chance loosing our opportunity for salvation completely.

1John 2:15 KJV

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world,

the love of the Father is not in him.

By being a part of the world, we loose control of our Christian life because in doing so we take our eyes off Jesus. The cares of the world keep us from serving God.

4. Satan has no right

to rob Jesus of our praises:

Psalms 108:1&3 KJV

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

When we become so involved with the world and other things that are less important than Jesus Christ in our lives, too often we forget about Jesus completely.

We forget to be in fellowship with Jesus.

We forget to be thankful in all things.

We forget to praise the Lord for everything we have and for everything He has done for us.

Hebrews 13:15 KJV

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is,

the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

We should be giving praise to God all the time. Even when things look gloomy for the moment and when we feel like we are all alone.

We need to remember that God knows everything and is in control of everything. It is at those times when we forget this very important fact, that satan has robbed Jesus of our praises to and for Him. Don’t let satan do that! Praise God for everything in your life.

Satan has no right to beat us around like he does. Are you going to let him do that?

REMEMBER:

SATAN HAS NO RIGHTS!
